Wayuu Womu Pom Pom Hat Playa
Be prepared to receive complements galore when you step out in your Wayuu pom pom hat. Sun or shade, beach or city- these hats will make you feel like you've just stepped off a Vogue mood board with their striking shape and playful look.
Made entirely by hand by the Wayuu indigenous communities in the Alta Guajira, Colombia, Wayuu Womu hats are distinguished by their high circular crown and the multiple geometric shapes that are woven into the crown and brim. A central feature of traditional Wayuu dress for both men and women, each hat takes about eight hours to weave and is made with a single diagonal weaving technique that makes the hats remarkably strong and hard wearing.
